Hello Rhyan,
I wanted to share with you what a joy Deacon is. He is just the sweetest, most mellow boy! His favorite thing to do is curl up on our laps or his arm chair and rest the day away. Deacon has become as strong companion for his sister and has truly completed our family. He is a healthy 43 pounds and now stands taller than 11 month old Layla. I have included some photos of him. He has spent most of his summer playing in the river with his sister Layla; they couldn't be a better pair. Again, I hope that all is well.

Best,

My husband and I had been searching for a brindle Boxer for several months when we saw a picture of Tank on Puppyfind.com. I contacted Rhyan to let her know we were interested and about 2 weeks later we made the 3 hour journey to pick him up. Rhyan was great and answered all of our questions and then some. You can tell she loves her dogs and that they are well taken care of... Tank is wonderful and has made the perfect addition to our home. He weighs about 65-70 pounds now.... Just a big lump of love… Wouldn't hurt a fly… He is happy all the time and just bounces when he walks. Never barks and only rumbles a little when Mia bugs him to death... I will keep sending you pictures.. Let me know when you have more puppies and I will pass the word along. So many people see him and ask where we got him. The next time we buy another Boxer Rhyan will be our first call...

Rhyan,
I just thought I would FINALLY send you some pictures of Buckley (Lilo). He has been an absolute joy! He is still a bouncy puppy most of the time, but he loves to cuddle up with us on the couch at night. Darren and I take him over to my parents to play with their dogs (a 9 year old Black lab and a 11 year old mutt). They love running laps around the yard and then will collapse for a little bit... but then they are back at it as soon as they recover. He keeps them young, I guess. Anyways, thank you for doing such a great job with him as a young puppy. He has been a great addition to our’ family.' Darren and I are getting married in May and I really want Buckley to be in our pictures... at least a few.

Thanks,
Christine, Knoxville, TN

Hi Rhyan,
This is our boxer 'Rocky' which we got from you when we drove from Louisiana and met you and your daughter at the rest stop (I am sure you remember that!). He is 1 1/2 years old now and doing great. We absolutely love this dog. He is spoiled rotten and has taken over our household. Thank you and have a very Merry Christmas! Margaret Hungerford and family

Hello Rhyan:
We are thoroughly enjoying our boxer... Greta!!!! She has so much personality.

I have never seen a breed like her that is so people oriented. She gets along great with all the other dogs. She is definitely a people dog.

Needless to say, I have given up the bed many nights. Doug has had the best time with her. I will send you more pictures later of her interacting with the other dogs. I just wanted you to know she is doing great and very smart. She is doing great with the housebreaking training too. We really love her. Thank you so much!!!!

Hi Rhyan,

I just thought I would say hi and let you know that Duncan is doing well.

He turned 2 today and is as healthy as he could possibly be. He is weighing in at about 60 lbs and is just as fun as ever.

I started a new hobby of brewing my own beer and he is the official mascot of my so called brewery. I called it Duncanwood Brewery and he is the picture on most of the labels that I make for the different beers. I am sending you a few of the photos from that.

We are also gearing up for our annual hunting trip. I took him last year since we have an older guy that doesn't hunt; he just stays in the camp and tends to it so I thought that he would like the company. I guess last year Duncan mostly slept in my cot while I was out, but the guy said that he would come out and play with him every once in a while. So I am taking him again this year. I got a new 12X14 foot tent this year with a wood burning stove to keep the tent warm so I think Duncan will like it better this year.

He still likes to play with his ball, seems to almost always have one near him. He stays in shape with our morning jog of about 3 miles and if we miss it he seems to be very restless.

I have a couple of close friends that have kids and he does very well with them. He lets them pull on his ears, hang all over him and he doesn't seem to mind at all. He is super gentle with the kids, which made me very happy as my girlfriend and I are talking marriage and starting a family in the next couple years. I am sure that he will be jealous of my kid, but I am not worried about anything. The only aggression that I have ever seen out of him is towards the squirrels that are in the back yard. They seem to torment him by running along the fence and chattering at him. He has only been able to catch one, and he didn't even kill it. I was worried that the thing was going to bite him, but to the best of my inspection he suffered no injury from the whole thing.

Again I want to thank you for one of the best dogs that I have ever owned. He is active, playful, gentle in every way (except when we are wrestling on the floor, then he seems to beat me up), and is very capable of taking care of himself without destroying things when I am at work (my 48 hour shifts as a firefighter). To date he has only chewed up a pair of work gloves and my pager, which I left on vibrate, on the coffee table. I am sure he thought it was a great toy vibrating on the table. I didn't find it till the snow melted off in the back yard. So in two years I can't complain about too much.

I just thought you would like the update and pictures.
